FileTime | |||
|
FileTime is a file utility I wrote in Delphi 3. It runs on Windows 95, 98 or NT. You can use FileTime to change the date and time of files in a given directory. It can also 'rename' files to minors or capitals. ![]() In the left half of the window you select the directory to be processed. You can include subdirectories if you want. The program only changes the file times and dates of files, not of directories. I wanted the program to also be able to change the times and dates of directories but haven't been able to implement this. If you know how to do this, please contact me... The right half of the window is used to set the date and time. Once you have set all parameters, press Start to get going.

BaseConverter | |||
|
BaseConverter is a small utility I wrote in VB 4.0 32 bits. It runs on Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.51 or higher. You can use BaseConverter to convert numbers from one numerical system to its equivalent in another. ![]() In every day life people have adopted the decimal system. In the decimal system each number is a composition of the numbers 0 to 9. However, this is completely arbitrarily. We could easily have had a very different numerical system... In the world of computers the most important numerical systems are the binary and hexadecimal systems. In the binary system every number is made up from either zeros or ones. The reason for this is that computers are nothing more than electrical devices knowing an ON state (1) and an OFF state (0). In the hexadecimal system numbers are formed from the numbers 0 to 9 plus the letters A, B, C, D, E and F. The principle for forming numbers is the same in all numerical systems: once you "run out" of numbers the digit to the left is incremented and the counting starts all over again.

Doom II level | |||
|
If you enjoy playing id Software's Doom then you should try out my wad. Looks pretty good even though I say so myself. Take a look at some of the screenshots I took:
![]() This level consists of 3 parts. The first, "Prelude", is just a warm up. Fight your way through mainly troopers, sarges and imps and get the blue key. The second, "Doomity-Ville Horror" is quite difficult and can cause some healthy chills to run up and down your spine. In this part you will encounter many, many enemies. There is a plenty of medikits but they are mainly located in one spot. You´d better find it... The leader of the pack is one very lonely Arch-Villain. The guy is quite desperate and can´t stand seeing his good buddies being wasted. He can cause you many problems, so don´t start feeling sorry for him. In this part you have to find/get the red and yellow keys. The final part, "Jump for joy", is the smallest and has the fewest enemies. This doesn´t mean that it is an easy one. After completing some formalities you will come face to face with Jean-Pierre: the beloved butler of the devil himself. He is a bit pissed off (isn´t everybody in doom?) He just got laid (off) by the devil and has been sent here to provide invited and uninvited guests with cocktails and the alike. Once he sees you, he will promptly start serving you with eyeopeners, but, clumsy as he is, end up serving his buddies bloody-maries...
For more wads you should try cdrom's ftp site. They have got lots of stuff there... | |||
